(Courtesy of JNF) Jewish National Fund (JNF) is proud to host its inaugural Tu B’Shvat Festival, Shuk Shack, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at the IAC Headquarters (555 West 18th Street, New York City) from 7 to 9 p.m. with a JNFuture after-party from 9 to 11 p.m.

Shuk Shack is designed as a multi-sensory event where guests will be nourished in body, mind and soul. JNF will transform the IAC into a shuk, or Israeli market, allowing attendees to experience various aspects of what makes Israel so unique and special. The party will feature exquisite wine tasting, delicious street food, music, dancing, and a look into Israel’s multifaceted culture.

The evening offers guests a unique opportunity to learn about the people and land of Israel as well as the vital work of Jewish National Fund, its vision and how it provides a unique voice in building a prosperous and secure future for Israel. JNF strives to bring an enhanced quality of life to all of Israel’s citizens and translate these advancements to the world beyond. JNF is “greening” the desert with millions of trees, building thousands of parks across Israel, creating new communities and cities for generations of Israelis to call home, bolstering Israel’s water supply, helping develop innovative arid agriculture techniques, ensuring that no citizen is left behind by making parks and public spaces inclusive for people with disabilities and special needs, and educating both young and old about the founding and importance of Israel and Zionism.

Participants in the Shuk Shack event will include some of JNF’s important partners in Israel. Booths will be set up to educate guests about JNF’s work with water management and conservation, farming in the Negev, community building, fire and rescue services, and so much more.

The JNFuture after-party, for guests ages 22-40, will include music, a dessert reception, and open bar. JNFuture is a global community of young professionals and supporters of Jewish National Fund who share a commitment and passion for Israel. Since its founding in 2007, JNFuture has grown exponentially from one city to more than 20 across the U.S. and Israel. All members have access to a vast network of like-minded peers, a variety of events, exclusive speaker series, VIP receptions with senior Israeli officials, and specialized trips to Israel.

Tickets for Shuk Shack are $180 in advance; $250 at the door. JNFuture tickets are $120 in advance; $180 at the door. Tickets can be obtained via jnf.org/shukshack. For questions, please contact Sharon Lewis at [email protected] or 212.879.9300 x501.
