Jewish Historical Society to Honor Ina Cohen Harris

The Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey (JHSNJ) will honor Ina Cohen Harris at its annual fundraising dinner on Wednesday, May 16, at Barnert Temple in Franklin Lakes. Cohen Harris, a board member, is the organization’s recording secretary and is being honored for her valuable contribution to the society and lifetime service to the greater community at large.

Barnert Temple is located at 747 Route 208 South in Franklin Lakes. The event starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for $70 per person before April 16, $75 after that date; no tickets at the door. Profits benefit the Jewish Historical Society of North Jersey, a 501(c)(3) organization. Call 201-300-6590 or mail checks made out to JHSNJ to 17-10 River Road, Suite 3A Fair Lawn, NJ 07410.

Marty Feitlowitz, former chairman of the Paterson Historical Commission, JHSNJ board member and vice president says, “Ina exudes energy and enthusiasm in all she does—the spark plug that gets everyone motivated. No one says ‘no’ to Ina. I consider her to be the heart and soul of the JHSNJ.”
