Jewish Federation and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Offer Cyber Security Program

On Wednesday, March 6, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s elite Cyber Crimes Unit will offer a program for local organizations and individuals to help them understand and protect themselves in our highly dependent world of cyber connectedness.

The event will be held at Jewish Federation’s office – 50 Eisenhower Drive from 7 – 9 p.m.

According to Debbie Gottlieb, manager Kehillah Cooperative and group purchasing, “This event is open to organizations, synagogues and individuals who are looking for specific tools and strategies on keeping their cyber data safe and secure. We are very lucky the Prosecutor’s office can offer our community this high level training.”

Topics that will be specifically addressed include malware, securing passwords, online scams, protecting mobile devices and data breaches.
