NORPAC Hosts Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) in Bergen County

(Courtesy of NORPAC) On Thursday evening, the Kazmir Family in Closter, New Jersey, hosted a NORPAC private dinner event for Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX).

McCaul is the new ranking member of the House Foreign Relations committee and the former chairman of the Homeland Security Committee. Together with Chairman Eliot Engel (D-NY) Michael is reviewing legislation based on the recently passed Senate Bill S.1, which includes measures to combat the boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) movement, as well as enshrining $3.8 billion in annual military aid to Israel.

Ranking member McCaul has stated that it is a key goal in his new leadership role to keep these issues nonpartisan and to work to achieve a consensus on language that keeps the legislation from being watered down by the political process.

Michael McCaul is running for re-election in 2020 in the House of Representatives.
