An array of prominent supporters of the state of Israel, World War II veterans from Young Israel synagogues and active Young Israel members who have made significant contributions to their respective communities were honored by the National Council of Young Israel at its gala dinner in New York City. Rabbi Zvi and Aviva Gluck of Queens were honored with the Moses H. Hoenig Award at the National Council of Young Israel’s gala dinner in New York City.
