On Shabbat, May 18, Congregation Rinat Yisrael’s Adult Education Committee presents “Lehrhaus Live,” with three sessions featuring outstanding young Lehrhaus scholars. At 5:00 p.m., Rabbi Tzvi Sinensky will address “Liminal Spaces in Halacha: The Curious Case of the Androgynous and Masekhet Bikkurim.” At 6:30 p.m., Rabbi Shlomo Zuckier will address “Emperor Julian’s Attempt to Rebuild the Temple in 363 CE: The Bayit Shlishi that Wasn’t.” After the 7:35 p.m. Mincha, Miriam Gedwiser will address “The Three Oaths: Between Halacha and Aggadah.” The public is invited to attend.
