(Courtesy of NORPAC) On Thursday evening, Drs. Esther and Mort Fridman hosted their second NORPAC event for Senator Ben Sasse (R-NE) at their home in Teaneck.

Ben Sasse was elected in a 2014 landslide, winning each of Nebraska’s 93 counties, and securing the second-largest margin for a new senator in the history of the state. He sits on the judiciary, intelligence, joint economic and the baking, housing and urban affairs committees.

During the event, attendees sat around a table with Senator Sasse and asked him questions pertaining to the U.S.-Israel relationship. In his position on the intelligence committee, explained Sasse, he has heard numerous reports and briefings about Iran’s increasing support of terrorist entities in and around Israel, especially Hamas and Hezbollah. He stated the need for continued sanctions against Iran, and increasing pressure on international banks to stop doing business with the IRGC’s terrorist links.

Senator Ben Sasse will be up for re-election next November.
