A group of ladies from Russia recently came to the United States, led by Rebbetzin Chani Lazar, wife of Moscow’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar. They visited the rebbe’s Ohel, Lubavitch Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway and, at their final destination, had a sumptuous banquet at Bris Avrohom Center, Hillside. Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, executive director, and Mrs. Shterney Kanelsky, associate director, related stories of self-sacrifice living in Russia as well as stories and miracles of the rebbe. The group left with resolutions to increase in the study of Torah and performance of mitzvot on their journey back to Russia.
