Jewish Family Service of MetroWest will begin offering a support group for parents of LGBTQ+ youth this month. This group is intended for parents whose child is first coming out or has already come out. It will provide parents a safe space to find the support and resources they need and deserve.
The group will meet for seven sessions, 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Sessions began in November and will continue on January 16, February 20, March 20, April 17 and May 15. The group will meet at JFS offices, located at 256 Columbia Turnpike, Suite 105, in Florham Park. Proud Parents will be facilitated by Stephanie Warm, LCSW.
