Upon the advice of the Lubavitcher Rebbe to celebrate a birthday with joy and friends, Rabbi Kanelsky celebrated his birthday with family, friends and community members. Many of the people who attended shared their history and the personal impact Bris Avrohom, thanks to the Kanelskys, has had on them. On the first night of Rabbi Kanelsky’s birthday celebration, many friends and supporters of the Russian Jewish community attended. The second night was attended by shul members and the community.
