Nearly 150 people came together at the Young Israel of Passaic-Clifton to rejoice and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reunification of Yerushalayim. Special Tehillim were recited before Maariv. Following davening and remarks from Rabbi Glasser, an inspirational video about the battle for Yerushalayim was shown, and then a discussion took place between Rabbi Glasser and YIPC member Dan Hoffman, an IDF veteran of the Six-Day War. After the discussion, everyone listened to the recordings of soldiers and Rav Shlomo Goren, z”l, at the Kotel soon after its liberation. The evening concluded with the singing of Hatikvah.
