Daf Hashovua Completes Maseches Rosh Hashanah

(Courtesy of Daf Hashovua) With much gratitude to Hashem, the international Daf Hashovua learning program is pleased to announce another major milestone, the completion of Maseches Rosh Hashanah and commencement of Maseches Ta’anis. This great accomplishment will be marked by participants with an evening of inspiration and celebration on Tuesday evening, March 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Ohel Rivka Hall in Passaic. Harav Hagaon Moshe Aharon Friedman, shlita, rosh mesivta in Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, will be joining us and will offer divrei chizuk. It is a special zechus that R’ Moshe Aharon shares a daily 10-minute shiur in conjunction with Daf Hashovua and it is exciting that he will be joining for this momentous occasion. A recording of his shiurim can be accessed by visiting www.dafaweek.org or by emailing [email protected], with RMAF in the subject line. In addition to R’ Moshe Aharon, mesaymim will hear divrei bracha from Rav Shmuel Ismach of the Young Israel of Great Neck. The event will be further enhanced with the uplifting and inspiring music of world-renowned singer R’ Abish Brodt.

The new masechta, Maseches Ta’anis, begins on Sunday, March 11, and concludes (in just seven months) on October 6, 2018. All are invited to join and taste the success that thousands of worldwide participants enjoy. Daf Hashovua, also known as Daf A Week, began with Maseches Brachos 13 years ago and is following the seder of Daf Yomi. In that time, it has grown to be a popular supplement or alternative for those who would rather learn at a slower pace, in greater depth and with more chazara, than the Daf Yomi schedule allows. At the same time, participants share a similar feeling of achdus by being part of a worldwide tzibbur that has made the Daf Yomi program so effective.
