Topaz Charitable Foundation Spearheads Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts

In the wake of Hurricane Dorian’s ravaging of the Bahamas, and the outer banks of North Carolina Topaz Charitable Foundation (“TCF”) is stepping up and getting their charity partners to aid relief efforts. The organization, along with its affiliated charity partners including Topaz Capital Group LLC, Cinch Delivery Co., Marquis Force Staffing LLC, and United Claims Specialists LLC, have put together an assortment of supplies to be delivered to the areas that sustained damage. The organization is donating roughly twelve thousand bottles of water and thousands of food snacks along with three days of volunteer work from their employees, and also matching all funds donated by their employees and their families.

TCF is a charity organization and network in affiliation with Topaz Capital Group LLC. For its members, the decision to aid the relief efforts was a natural one. The company even brought its staff members to the affected areas to help with the organization and distribution for the relief effort.

“TCF invited their workers and community to join them on our trucks and vans to get a firsthand look at the hard work their crew, volunteers and staff are doing on a near daily basis across many trucks to assist Carolinians who have had their lives disrupted by the storm,” TCF shared in a press release, adding, “We took rental trucks and arrived to affordable communities devastated by Dorian along the coastal cities and outer banks to distribute the relief supplies. In less than 24 hours after the storm struck, bottled water, food snacks, and other relief supplies went from a storage and warehouse facility in South Carolina to be loaded up on vehicles for delivery the following day up to North Carolina.”

For Marc Avi Hershberg and J. Etan Friedman, managing members of TCF and Topaz Capital Group LLC, the charity work was able to be accomplished in large part due to their affiliated organizations (Cinch Delivery, Marquis Force Staffing, and United Claims Services) that donated time, funds and effort to help as many people as possible post hurricane.

“[TCF is] so thankful for our incredibly generous charity partners and consultants,” Hershberg shared. “Cinch Delivery Co. based out of Bergen County, New Jersey, and United Claims Specialists based out of Miami, Florida, for connecting us with wholesale suppliers, logistical assistance and coordination, volunteers on the ground, and many other very crucial components that made this disaster relief mission become a collaborative grassroots effort in order to give back to our fellow communities in the Southeast.”

TCF volunteer and Topaz employee Jared Isaac echoed his sentiments, explaining, “It is important for us [TCF] to show the communities we aren’t necessarily a part of that we are here for them in times of need.”

Among the organizations joining in the relief efforts, Cinch Delivery Co. was one of the leading organizations assisting in TCF’s mission.

“Cinch always strives to help those in their time of need and we are very grateful that Topaz (“TCF”) brought us into this particularly important effort,” Ari Korman, CEO of Cinch Delivery Co. and its affiliate company, Scan2Ship.com, shared.
