East Stroudsburg, PA—Batter up! Camp Dora Golding is stepping up their sports this summer, with a new sports director who will oversee a league of coaches and a rigorous sporting schedule.

Directed by Levi Goldberg of Teaneck and a team of full-time coaches, the updated sports program will provide intensive sports training in basketball, baseball, hockey, flag football, tennis and volleyball. Campers will be taught new techniques and have the opportunity to further develop their skills, increase their hand-eye and eye-foot coordination and improve strength and agility through drills and exercises tailored to their specific level. “Camp Dora Golding has always been known for its superior sports program, but this summer we are taking it to the next level with Levi Goldberg and his specialized staff,” says Binyamin Daiches, Assistant Director of CDG. “Not only is Levi an expert coach, he has also been a camp parent for many years, so he understands how our camp works and what we are trying to achieve.”

CDG’s sports program doesn’t only focus on champion sporting skills, but champion values such as perseverance, determination, teamwork, respect, discipline and confidence. Levi emphasizes that “sports is the perfect vehicle for learning life-skills, values and characteristics that stay with a person their entire life and translates well into other life endeavors.”

Camp Dora Golding has been providing campers with action-packed, magic-filled summer experiences for 90 years, making it the “The Place To Be.” In addition to the exceptional sports program, campers at Camp Dora Golding and its sister camp for girls, Camp Dina, will enjoy amazingly exciting activities such as zip lining, archery, boating and more, as well as trips to Hershey Park, Dorney Park and Camel Beach.
