Coming off a hard fought victory over Hillel, the Rapids faced a familiar opponent in Frisch. The Rapids, though they had beaten Frisch once this year, had not hosted them since Frisch knocked the Rapids out of the playoffs last year. The Rapids were poised for revenge and looked to continue their dominant play over opponents in the regular season. During the first six minutes of the game there was a defense battle, both teams were fighting to break through. Shortly thereafter the Rapids awoke, scoring five goals in the span of nine minutes; they took a commanding 5-0 lead. The Rapids did not look back. They added to their goal total and looked to hold on for their first shutout and fifth consecutive mercy. Frisch applied pressure in the second half, but the Rapids’ attack was too much and the Cougars were beaten. The road gets no easier from here as the Rapids play the 6-0 Bruriah team, and finally the Kushner Cobras to close out their season.
