My daughter Amanda is currently suffering from end-stage chronic kidney failure and is in need of a kidney transplant. It has been proven that patients do better with a kidney transplant than staying on dialysis. A transplant is the only long-term solution to keep my daughter alive, preferably from a living donor. We are looking for a living donor with blood type O or A.

Amanda’s warmth and compassion for her family and friends is incredible. She is the first person to raise her hand when someone is in need. She is a wonderful aunt to her 5-year-old niece and 4-year-old nephew. Amanda’s health struggles have often presented her with difficult challenges, but she chooses to take a positive view of her future. It is truly impressive to see how she keeps a smile on her face despite the hurdles she has already overcome, and those that still lie ahead. She is truly an amazing example to others to remain optimistic no matter where life takes you.

If you or anyone you know might be willing to donate a kidney, we are working with Renewal, a leading and experienced non-profit organization that matches kidney donors with recipients. Renewal “holds the hand” of kidney donors throughout the entire process and offers guidance and support without any pressure.

Please reference Amanda Benjamin’s code (R18220) when contacting Renewal by phone at 718-431-9831 x 209, or contact them by email at [email protected].
