Look at Ocean Pavilion for Short Term Kosher Rentals

People are always asking me, “Leon, where can I economically rent a Miami Beach condo for a month or two that has kosher services?”

Well, I am happy to report that I have found the perfect place for the budget-conscious kosher traveler: Ocean Pavilion Condominiums, located at 5601 Collins Ave. in the heart of Miami Beach Florida.

It’s conveniently located close to the 41st Street Business District, kosher restaurants and Publix supermarket.

Built in 1968, with 350 units and with very liberal rental restrictions (12 times per year, 30-day minimum), it has a Shabbat elevator and an Orthodox shul on the mezzanine level.

This building, having just undergone a major multimillion-dollar renovation, giving it a very modern and new look, has it all for the kosher traveler looking to get away for a stress-free vacation.

Rabbi Sam Intrator has been the spiritual leader of the Ocean Pavilion Carlebach Minyan since 2006.

With Ashkenaz daily, Shabbat and holiday minyanim, Rabbi Sam Intrator is very receptive and tries to make everyone feel at home.

Although Carlebach songs are a big part of the davening, it has a Young Israel vibe. “From shtreimels to singles, old and young, we try to maintain a warm feeling of camaraderie,” says Rabbi Intrator.
