Tania Wolf, an interior designer with a background in architecture is bringing her expertise and creative eye to Bergen County. Originally from France, Wolf obtained her degree in architecture while living in Paris where she dedicated much of her professional time to residential design. Since moving to Clifton seven years ago, she worked with a few architects before establishing TW Design. Wolf continues to work in residential remodeling and has become involved in commercial design as well.
Wolf explained that she approaches each project with a primary focus on functionality. “Form follows function,” a principle associated with 20th-century modernist architecture and industrial design, is based on the idea that that the shape of a building or object should primarily relate to its intended function or purpose. She believes the decorative elements are important to the project, but first and foremost, it is the proficiency of the design that creates a successful configuration.
Wolf dedicates herself wholeheartedly to each undertaking, making sure all client concerns and desires are met. She evaluates a space, and creates an innovative floor plan allowing for the most functional design. She understands that any type of remodeling can become a stressful situation for clients. People are often overwhelmed by the decision making process. Wolf guides her clients through the entire project, assisting in choosing materials needed down to the finishing touches.
Wolf is always mindful of a client’s budget and works hard to obtain the best products at the most cost efficient price. She can also assume the entire project management, alleviating the pressure from the owners or investors altogether.
No job is too big or too small for TW Design. Wolf is fully committed to small projects from bathroom or basement renovations, kitchen makeovers and custom furniture design to full house expansion and remodeling.
She is also experienced in designing new construction projects and investment property remodeling. She is currently expanding into the commercial market, most recently transforming a warehouse space into a men’s custom suit store in Brooklyn. She is confident that her talent could be valuable in a variety of spaces which include office space, medical space, hospitality and retail space.
TW Design offers a unique combination of out of the box ideas combined with reliable and budget conscious options. Wolf wants prospective clients to know she is practical, honest and committed to every project she accepts.
