Just know, when making reservations, one can special order off the menu! For the past month I have been eating at the Backyard BBQ. I convinced the owner/manager, Mendel Segal, to prepare a special, not found on the menu: two-inch-thick rib-eye steak prepared a special way using the gourmet cooking technique called “sous vide.” The steak is first seared on both sides and then cooked to perfection! If you mention my name, he will know exactly what you want.

Breaking News! I’ve just been informed that under the guidance of Segal and his partner, Ofy Shifman, owner/operator of Kosherica Kosher Tours, they have taken over The Mesa Restaurant.

“We plan to move our Backyard BBQ menu to Mesa in order to service our clients’ demand and need for a larger, more upscale venue. We plan to maintain and continue the Backyard BBQ location with a more reasonable fast-food menu,” said Mendel.

The kosher Airbnb townhouses fulfill a specific need. I am constanly getting calls from my high-end, luxury kosher clients looking for this kind of short-term rental property.
