Last week the Moriah early childhood had a very special visit from the Shofar Factory! Students saw all different types of shofars and learned how they are made. They even got to see the inside of a shofar before it is prepared and ready for Rosh Hashanah. At the end of the program, each child had an opportunity to get their very own shofar and prepare it. They sanded it down and made sure it was nice and smooth, then carefully looked inside to be sure it was hollow. They learned so much!
