TABC Students Win Awards

TABC students continuously excel across the board winning contests and competitions in Torah, science, math, writing, general knowledge and more. This week TABC is proud to announce two of its latest academic champions.

Shlomi Helfgot, ‘18, was the boys Torah Bowl Champion at the Torah New York event, which attracted thousands of people to Citi Field to learn Torah together on Sunday, April 29.

Additionally, senior Yaakov Zinberg came in second in the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage essay contest for high school students. Zinberg placed second in a competition of almost 2,000 essays. He will receive a $1,000 award for his essay about Ben Olcott, former governor of Oregon. Zinberg is the only student in all of New Jersey—from public and private school combined—to place in the contest.
