This past Shabbos, more than 40 JEC students participated in a pre-Shavuot shabbaton in Passaic. The weekend was packed with learning, shiurim and ruach as all involved made the choice to join for a Shabbos dedicated to growth and inspiration. Students were able to hear Divrei Torah and chizuk, learning together with Rabbi Menachem Zupnick, rav of Beis Torah U’tefillah; Rabbi Yaakov Feit, rebbe in Kushner; Rabbi Avi Sarfaty, rosh hayeshiva in YU; and Rabbi Jonathan Kessel, rebbe in TABC. The boys learned in different batei midrash throughout Shabbos, from a pre-plag learning session, to late night learning and a pre-mincha seder in Kehillas Agudas Yisrael. Joining the shabbaton were Rabbis Malitzky, Rich, Sauber and Neuman.
