In advance of Yom Yerushalayim, JKHA celebrated the momentous reunification of Yerushalayim. Lower school joined with middle school for the singing of Hatikvah followed by an amazing daglanut performance by the eighth grade girls. Middle school continued the celebration with a spirited chagiga to Yerushalayim-themed songs.

Early childhood and lower school students enjoyed special Yerushalayim-focused Shabbat assemblies. Rabbi Srolovitz taught the students about the history of that historic day, showed slideshows of footage from the reunification as well as videos that highlight the beauty of the city. The assemblies concluded with lively dancing.
