This past week marked the culmination of the Yavneh Academy fifth graders’ study of the 50 states. In preparing for their State Fair, each student was assigned a state to research. On the evening of the State Fair, excited and proud students were joined by their friends and family members for an entertaining and instructional program. The program began with state themed songs performed by the students followed by a collation in which each of the fifth graders served up a special edible treat or beverage related to their state.
