“Hard work pays off!” was the message that rang out clearly at Yavneh Academy on Tuesday, June 12. In recognition of the 2017-2018 middle school champions in both academic and sports competitions, Yavneh hosted a Parade of Champions. The school spirit was tangible as students and faculty dressed in Yavneh’s signature red and white colors and gathered to cheer on a procession of our champions as they marched down the Yavneh “Canyon of Heroes.” The Yavneh cheerleaders, the Redhawks mascot, a decorated school van, drummers, tambourine players, flag bearers and several Yavneh banners led the winners! Congratulations to the champions and first place winners in debate, the Paramus Poetry Contest, Chidon HaTanach, the Stock Market Game, the Ron Heller Contest, the boys soccer team and girls hockey team!
