On Sunday, February 3, MDS students excelled in the Tri-State Chess Tournament held at Manhattan Day School. The MDS Team came in first place in the elementary section and won a team trophy for the school. Fifth grader Noa A. won first place in the section and received an individual first place trophy. All MDS tournament participants received trophies and medals for their achievements. MDS is so proud of all of their chess players!
