During Pink Week at Ma’ayanot, Devorah Silverman, director of Growth and Innovation at Sharsheret, spoke to the students about breast cancer awareness and healthy habits. The school raised over $500 through fundraisers including Manicure for a Cure with students from the Empire Beauty School. Pink Week programs were coordinated by the Chesed Committee and faculty adviser Caryn Keller.
