This past week TABC had the honor of being represented at the annual AIPAC Policy Conference by one of the largest high school contingents participating in the event. Twenty students, accompanied by Dr. Prager and Rabbi First, were immersed for two and a half days in a broad range of lectures, panel discussions and general sessions. Highlights included addresses by Secretary of State Pompeo, Vice President Pence, Shlomo Gantz, live telecast with Prime Minister Netanyahu, members of Congress and lobbying with Senator Cory Booker and Congressman Josh Gottheimer. This year’s conference took on extra special meaning and urgency as the report came in on Monday morning of the Hamas rocket attacks on Tel Aviv and in the south of Israel. Lightening things up a bit was a special presentation on Monday night by the co-creator of “Fauda” with a behind-the-scenes look at the genesis and making of this blockbuster TV series.
