JKHA Students Add Meaning to Their Tefillot

As a culmination of their year-long tefillah class, eighth grade girls participated in a meaningful tefillah program. After Shacharit, and leading Hallel for the middle school girls in honor of Rosh Chodesh, there was a breakfast where each eighth grade girl was given a gift of an artistic Kriat Shema of their own. The program continued with a classmate sharing words of inspiration about the importance of tefillah. The eighth grade girls then performed a song with musical accompaniment from their classmates. The program concluded with a “Shemoneh Esrei Fair” where their displays conveyed the meaning and message of each bracha in Shemoneh Esrei and a beautiful kumzitz with the eighth grade girls singing together and savoring their last days as JKHA students.
