Yeshivat Noam Students Celebrate Learning Torah L’Shema

As part of the Genia Horn, z”l, Judaic Studies Program, students in grades one through five, who completed 12 or more hours of Torah learning l’shema, were invited to a celebratory pizza luncheon. The over 40 participating students were awarded with a keepsake special card with Kriat Shema as well as medals. The Torah L’Shema champion trophy was awarded to third grader Sara Yadlovker who learned 79 hours a home. According to Yadlovker,” I learn Mishnayot with my dad regularly and I am excited to get a trophy to share with him for learning together with me.” The Shamati—Torah L’Shema Program was dedicated in memory of Dr. Yitzchak Belizon, z”l in order to inspire students to learn.
