RYNJ’s early childhood students enjoyed a visit from the River Edge Fire Department. The firemen reviewed important fire safety guidelines with the children, showed them their gear and even gave them a tour of a fire engine. The children had the opportunity to touch and explore the equipment, and even sit in the fire engine. Special thanks to firemen Mendy Schwartz, Lenny Hanauer and Moshe Blech for teaching the children all about the process and fire safety.
