Being at home did not stop the Yavneh Academy children from learning about and preparing for Pesach. The morot have been doing an incredible job telling over the story of Pesach and teaching about the parts of the Seder along with songs, props, books and special activities. Last week, parents were invited to pick up special packages from Morah Shani’s house at pre-arranged times in order to comply with social distancing. Parents found tables outside on the front lawn set up with parcels containing the supplies the children would need to prepare projects for Pesach including pillowcases, towels for Rachtza and a Pesach number book for pre-kers, Haggadot, matzah covers and a Seder plate for kindergarteners to decorate, along with arts and crafts supplies too! Each student’s Seder will hopefully be enhanced by the projects that they were able to complete! Chag kasher v’sameach to everyone!l
