Moriah 1st graders participated in a Thanksgiving Feast as a culmination to their units in both Jewish and General Studies. Students learned about different midot and mitzvot that can be associated with the holiday of Thanksgiving, as well as the appropriate brachot for the feast. In General Studies, the students learned about the history of the Pilgrims and Native Americans, the science behind making butter and much more. Happy Thanksgiving!
