The Ma’ayanot JV basketball team was on fire as they won their second game in a row against Central on Thursday night. This was the team’s first home game of the season, and they certainly impressed the crowd.
Going into the locker room after the first half, the Ma’ayanot Rapids had a tremendous lead. They came out in the second half with the same fire, executed their plays and kept scoring. With just four minutes left to the game, the Rapids had 48 points. The goal of the team was to get to 50 points, to be the highest scoring team so far this season. The players delivered these points and more, scoring six points in a mere four minutes. The Rapids were able to finish the game with an impressive final score of 54-28.
The JV basketball team hopes that this win is just the beginning of a tremendous season that lies ahead.
