Senior night for the Frisch hockey team took place on Saturday evening in a short ceremony led by master of entertainment Jake Fromen (junior forward) right before their game against Morris Catholic High School. (It was senior night; of course they won!)
One by one, they each took to the ice accompanied by their parents for a photo in front of their jerseys hanging on the glass.
This year’s seniors are Michael Adler, Joe Tropp, Benjy Feintuch, Andy Schenker, Jake Lasher, Braeden Badner, Maury Bauer, Charlie Freilich, Zach Rosenblatt and Sam Lipschitz.
This core group, along with several juniors and members from last year’s graduating class, paved the way for hockey to finally be played where it belongs—on the ice.
It was their passion, commitment and relentless drive that resulted in bringing ice hockey to our community at the high school level.
While they performed extremely well with their play, they quickly became aware that they were not only representing their school but their entire community at all times—a responsibility they would always embrace proudly.
