Congratulations to the Elmora Youth League Lugnuts on their championship win vs. the Thunder on Sunday, June 17. The team, made up of first, second and third graders from JEC and Kushner, had a great season, going 14-0-1 and pulling off a big win (10-9) in a nail biter game which went into two extra innings! The players, who make up the only Orthodox team in their age division, learned not only how to be better baseball players, but also how to work as a team, good sportsmanship and truly made a kiddush Hashem on the field.
