The RKYHS Sports Management Club had the special opportunity to participate in Sports Business Day at MetLife Stadium sponsored by the NY Jets. While at the stadium, the students heard from a number of different members of the JETS organization that shed light on various aspects of the team, from ticket sales and public relations to marketing and operations. The students were also able to receive a tour of the stadium and locker rooms and go out onto the field. The RKYHS group was especially privileged to meet with alum Jessica (Blank, JKHA ‘03/RKYHS ‘07) Zeffren, senior manager of marketing for the Jets who spoke to all the visiting students about marketing the team, from games to special events.
