SAR faced Hillel hockey, defeating them by a score of 10-1. Though Hillel stuck around early on, keeping the score 2-0 after the first period, SAR soon pulled away. Josh Hyman scored the first two goals of his career, Yamin Semer and Adam Freilich each netted two of their own and Adam Nayowitz, Yonah Fenster, Josh Cohen and Zevi Mehl put in the remaining goals for SAR. Nayowitz’s self-goal accounted for Hillel’s lone tally. SAR has locked up a home playoff game and at least the second seed in their division. The Sting will play Frisch next week with first place at stake.
