Last Thursday the TABC JV Storm took on the Roemer Renegades looking to raise money for tzedakah and to get ready for the playoffs. The TABC boys decided it would be cool to raise money for a “Home” and “Away” tzedakah with the game benefitting Project Ezrah locally and Migdal Ohr in Israel.
RYNJ hockey had come into this season with high expectations. With a core group of players who had played together for the last two years, and having gone from 2-8 to 7-3 and a semifinal playoff appearance, RYNJ was looking forward to having a strong season. They were not disappointed.
On January 29th the Ma’ayanot Rapids played an outstanding game against Westchester.
During the 1st quarter, the Rapids started the game by taking the lead, 13-4. Those 13 points were scored by freshman Jessie Orgel and freshman Leora Adler.
